The Cayman Islands National Weather Service Operations and Research Centre is a nationally significant facility that supports hurricane preparedness, aviation safety and daily weather forecasting for the Cayman Islands. Designed as a modern, resilient headquarters, the purpose-built building replaces ageing accommodation with infrastructure capable of supporting critical, always-on meteorological operations.

The centre is designed to remain fully operational during severe weather events, with hurricane-rated construction and resilient building systems throughout.

Specialist operational, forecasting and technical spaces are configured for 24/7 use, security and long-term adaptability as forecasting technologies evolve.
